I've had some concerns about this kind of thing for some time now. What with Abyss Creation's Real Doll (no, I won't link to it, and yes that's the perfect name for the company) and now this, there is more of possibly for birthrates in the West to decline further. We seem to be coming up with more and more substitutes for actually living.
But I suppose there can be therapeutic uses for things like these, as is the case in the movie, Lars and the Real Girl. Therapists are certainly living in interesting times.
